Focus and Scope
The journal AyurVigyan Sangrah publishes materials related to Ayurvedic system of health care, promotion and intervention. In addition to its focus on peer evaluated reviews and research articles; it has section for news & views about current development. The published materials may not necessarily comply with the AyurData policy and acceptance of advertisement does not imply endorsement from the group. The information provided are intended for trained health professionals and there is no implicit or eplict guarranttee from the publisher. The organisation follows guidelines on editorial independence (www.wame.org/wamestmt.htm#independence) and good publication practice (www.publicationethics.org.uk/guidelines). There are additional materials suitable for authors use on these site.

News & Views
All news items submitted in this section should be recent, reliable, verifiable and they remain under domain of author's responsibility. This section is not subject to review process by AyurData. The views may be personal based on their own observation and experience. Where necessary, supporting evidence or documentation may be requested before determining its suitability of publication. Submissions under this category is not subject to review process.
Review
Submission under this category are derived from primary research publications from any sources on topics covering Ayurveda. For time being, the focus is exclusively on herbal or chemical preparations that can be ingested, inhaled, or topically applied. Submissions under this category is subject to standard review process. Please check Instruction to Authors for additional details.
Articles
This section is devoted to primary research articles requiring ethical approval, high quality audits and service evaluation with organisational (like out patient clinic, hospital etc.) approval. The current focus is on herbal or chemical preparations that can be ingested, inhaled, or topically applied. Please check with Instruction to Authors for details. Submissions under this category is subject to standard review process.
Case Reports
Observation on individual or series of cases can be reported here. Under revised guidelines, it is expected that there is written and signed agreement from the patient before individual details are revealed. Even if consented, avoid patient's name and identifying details. Chronology of events, and their dates and duration should be provided to avoid ambiguity. Clinical presentation, diagnostic methods and criteria, method to assess change in clinical state, side effects, and adverse effects should form expected components of case reporting. The manuscript style should be same as that for research articles except that its Section C should contain Background, Case description, Discussion and Summary.

Peer Review Process
All submitted manuscripts, if qualify after initial assessment for suitability and quality, are accepted for peer review. It is up to reviewers to determine that the manuscripts meets expected standard. They may advise for improvident and resubmission before final acceptance. Authors will be informed whether or not the manuscript is suitable for publication. The whole submission process can take up to 8 weeks before acceptance, however it is difficult to guarantee this time frame.

Published as 3 monthly issues four times a year in one volume

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
